On Saturday, 1 October 2022, an open day was organised on the Rega base in Locarno. As many as 14,000 visitors took advantage of this rare opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the base and hangar at Locarno cantonal airport, as part of Rega's 70th anniversary celebrations.
