In an avalanche with buried victims, every second counts. Only those who are found and rescued within the shortest possible time have a real chance of survival. It is therefore important not only to alert Rega, but also to start searching for buried victims immediately. Once at the rescue site, every move must be perfect. This is why our crews regularly train for avalanche missions together with their rescue partners, as here a few weeks ago on Mount Stoos (SZ).
