Thick fog, strong wind and heavy snow all have an impact on visibility and can prevent a helicopter from carrying out a rescue mission. But that is soon to be a thing of the past: in future, Rega wants to come to the aid of even more people in distress by being able to perform helicopter missions in bad weather, too.
